Jonathan Brooks
President
Jonathan Brooks serves as President of Austin Fire Protection. He plays an integral leadership role in the company’s day to day operations as well as the continued expansion into to new markets. With over 21 years’ experience in the fire protection business he has been a part of multiple projects in the heavy industrial, data centers, and multi-story markets.
Jonathan has multiple state license, along with the certifications of NICET Level III in fire alarm, fire sprinkler and special hazards. Work has been performed from New Meixco to the Carolinas and in between.
Callen Jones
Executive Vice-President
Callen serves as vice president. He plays an integral leadership role in the company’s day to day operations as well as the continued expansion into to new markets. With over 15 years’ experience in the fire protection business, Callen is viewed as an industry leader.
Callen holds a degree from Washtenaw College, a Texas RME-I license, along with the certifications of NICET Level II in inspections/maintenance, NICET Level II in Water Based System Layout, and UA Star Sprinkler fitter Mastery. He is also a member of the National Fire Protection Association.
Sam Johnson
Safety Director
Sam is responsible for managing and enforcing the company’s compressive safety, training and compliance program across Austin Fire Protection and its Sister Companies. Sam has successfully implemented a safety procedure throughout the companies and has successfully reduced the safety risk on jobsites and has maintained a low EMR rating.
Nick Jensen
Senior Project Manager
Nick has over 5 years of experience in the design and project management of life safety systems in the Central Texas area. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and majored in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology before moving to Austin to begin his career in Fire and Life Safety. In his role as Project Manager for Austin Fire Protection, Nick ensures that projects are completed with the highest levels of communication, teamwork, and professionalism. Nick is NICET II certified in Water Based Fire Protection Systems Layout.
Dallas Penny
Fort Worth Branch Manager
Dallas brings vast experience with him to serve as the branch manager of our Dallas/Fort Worth area office. Dallas is the overseer for all of the Dallas/Fort Worth branch operations, ensuring each job exceeds our customer’s expectations. His experience includes over ten (10) years in the fire protection industry. He is an active member of the National Fire Protection Association. Dallas’ education includes studies of architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington as well as a bachelor of science degree from Washtenaw College. While in the industry, Dallas has acquired a thirty (30) hour OSHA certification.
In his time away from work, Dallas enjoys his personal time with his family, a wife and five children. He and his entire family are very involved serving others with God’s love with the outreach program of their church.
Billy Baldwin
Service Manager
Bill serves as our Service Manager. With 18 years’ experience in the fire protection industry. He is viewed as a field leader and mentor in the company’s day to day operations. With a service and installation background in wet, dry, preaction, deluge, AFFF Foam and special hazards fire sprinkler systems.
Bill holds a degree from Washtenaw College, a Texas RME-I license, Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester license, NICET Level II in Inspections, Testing and Maintenance, and is UA Star Sprinkler Fitter Mastery certified.
